Trex mess

We agree with John; Trex is one big disappointment. Our Trex deck is covered with spots too. Trex probably didn't reply to you because their entire product is equally prone to this problem. Everyone just tells us to keep the surface clean to prevent mold and mildew. We hose it off constantly and use deck cleaners but washing doesn't clean or prevent the spotting. We have no trees near the deck and there is not one area that is not affected with the spotting problem. We are sorry that we bought into Trex's "maintained free" advertising; professional power washing is the only thing that cleaned (most) of the Trex. I look forward to the day that Trex has to admit their false claims and is forced to make restitution to everyone they duped into believing their claims.
