Lye will remove grease that has penetrated concrete. Once it has worked be sure to flush well and neutalize with vinegar or mild acid. Lye or sodium hydroxide chemically reacts with organics to actively dissolve them and change the molecular structure. Sodium hydroxide will not react with concrete. Warning, you can get chemical burns with this product.
