I recently had a new concrete floor installed in my garage. (The old floor had one side that was sunken and it was pitted and cracked.) I'd like to keep the new floor in good shape and I'm afraid that the road salt (I live in Rochester, NY) will be a problem. I'd aalso like to keep the floor clean. It has a swirled texture on it so it just can't be wet down and squeegeed. My question is about a product like the "Clean Park Pad" and similar products on the market which are vinyl pads onto which you drive your car(s). It has a raised edge to trap liquid. Would this work for me or would I be inviting more trouble by trapping condensation under it? Are there other pros and cons?
