I have removed the cartridge and replaced it, however now when I turn the water on the whole shebang wants to SHOOT out of the wall.
The DANCO parts came with no instructions and I can't find specific 1-2-3 with troubleshooting for this problem. Help someone?
It began with a drippy faucet, then when I tried to tighten the screw it got worse. The new cartridge I bought didn't work--when I installed it, it sprung apart in the middle so there's about 3/4 inch of brass between the 2 white pieces. Now the handle won't even fit over it because I can't get it to fit back together.
I bought a new temp ring and handle too.
