Building an In-Ground Pool

In reply to do it yourself in ground pool by Pete Douzenis on December 4th, 2001 06:16 PM [Go to top of thread]

I would like to build (myself) an in-ground pool, rectangular in shape, approx. 20 x 36, with a sloping depth from 4ft to 9ft (at the diving board level). I would like to do it totally by myself, using concrete (or cement) as the basis for this pool.
Can you advise me on the supplies I would need, and exactly how to do it, without using a pool company? I have an experienced contractor & digging staff who are capable of doing this.
I only need instructions, a supply list & the best way to do this.
I would be most grateful for any help you could give me...
Thank you very much,
