I am getting ready to replace the top portion of our stairway banisters. I will have the bottom as a guide of where to put the balisters, but the nails they used were brad nails and I would like to not have to putty and patch the holes these make in the sides- any other options you are aware of? I was attempting to not reinvent the wheel on this project...Advice welcomed...thank you!
