Hi,
I bought some super glue for fixing a car plate, so I was out in the parking lot with my lil 1$ tubes of super glue. I opened one up and it spilled all over my hands. It totally hardened and then I went to the store I bought the glue they said try nail polish remover. I came home.. no luck. I looked on jeeves..no luck... one woman had glue on her hands for a year, no way..problem solving may be my thing as single mother and teacher.(( also a doc's kid.. so i may have missed my call to be a doc?).. oh well,
I went to closet got out some stain remover for carpets, made by blue magic.. anyway, it claims to move oils, all kinds of things. So I took that and poured it into a bowl, and soaked my hands. Then I took a carrot peeler.. with serated edges.. and scraped. The stain remover had chemicals to loosen the glue from skin.. and I after ten or fifteen minutes, all was dislodged. My fingers are a bit raw, but with out the hard glue.
Also, DONT EVEN THINK OF PUTTING YOUR HANDS ANYWHERE NEAR EYES OR NOSE, ETC, AS THIS STAIN REMOVER SHOULD NOT BE PUT NEAR THOSE AREAS..=Z)
wooohooo, be careful. i think they should put a sign on those lil glues.. but nooooooo..
anyway...
it worked for me..
