I posted with the same issue last Friday. It was recommended I check the speed switch which I did and tried a new one which didn't fix it. At this point, I am going to replace mine as I think anything else would cost as much as a new fan. I'm thinking of a Hunter as I wasn't happy with the Hampton Bay (label made for Home Depot only).
