I live in a townhouse and want to tile the entire first floor. this includes foyer, guest bathroom, livingroom with formal dining area and l-shaped eat in kitchen. Which tile is best (porcelain?) and how can I variate in each room while still maintaining a flow from area to area. Would like to do a pinwheel in kitchen and rug effect in foyer with a design breaking up kitchen to formal dining arear and foyer to kitchen and livingtoom (2 separate entrances.
