Thanks for all the good info, John & Henry. I'll try different speeds and blades tonight on my saw. I'm going to get out the ol' heat gun and try that tonight. Last night I put a match under the ragged edge of the plastic and it had a small blaze! Don't want to burn down the co-op. Yikes. Thanks for helping me get to the solution. I bought the thin piece last night and tonight am going to score it and watch physics take over! Sue
