HI. I am interested in applying stucco to the walls on the outside of my garage and basement. The thing is they already have stucco on them that is probably original to the house (at least 50 years old). It has a rough texture and I would like to make it look smooth. I know nothing about applying stucco but would love to tackle this project without the help of a contractor. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
