Make sure you are very fast to avoid the duct cutter rotating at high speed as it engraves a razor-sharp perfect cutout in the side of the duct. When you develop a fear of dismemberment, buy a pair of left or right-handed snips for about 20 bucks, start the hole with a drill, then cut the Magic-Marker circle with them.
