of fresh carpet taken from the corner of a carpeted closet. cut a piece out the size of a quarter or larger ...cut the same size out around the burn area....then try and use something like hot glue and glue the new spot back into the carpet...might use a backer like a piece of heavy paper glue to the larger carpet to give you somethign to glue the patch to. good luck...LJ
