I DONT KNOW THE TYPE OF METAL YOUR BRACKET IS MADE OF, BUT I WOULD CONSIDER GETTING IT WELDED OR JUST BUY THE WHOLE THING NEW. IF MEMORY SERVES, THEY ARE ONLY 125.00 OR SO. GOOD LUCK
