My 30 year old house with 3 foot overhang and ventilated soffit has no ventilation holes through the roof boards. The overhang is solid plywood.
Can the soffit be removed and replaced without much damage so that holes can be cut in the plywood for ventilation ? Do any roofing contactors do this ?
