The wall in my parent's guest room has some type of covering - it looks too thick to be paint, but it's peeling off the wall. Thing is, it's coming cleanly off the drywall, which looks intact underneath it. At first I thought the previous owner of the house might have painted over wall paper, but it looks more like someone layered something over the drywall. I don't know - does anybody have any thoughts?
