We did the roof on our house about two years ago, it looks great, however, one side of the house has paint stripping and apparently some wood rotten - from looking at the shingles, that side looks different, there are spaces and I guess the water runs down and it is getting on the wood. If has been a while since we did this and I think that side was done wrong. The shingles seemed to have been placed wrong on the first line. Do I need to repair the entire thing? can I just remove the first row and re-do? do you have a drawing of the correct placement?
