Nail polish on wood table

Posted by Barbi on June 24th, 2003 07:35 PM

I spilled nail polish on my wood table. I was trying to be careful, and had a paper towel down, but the stuff soaked right through out onto the table. When I pulled up the paper towel, and wiped some away, it wiped away the stain. This got most of the nail polish up, but there is still some left and I don't want to use nail polish remover to remove the rest for fear of making it even worse. Any suggestions? Does the whole table need to be refinished or is there a simple step? Any suggestions to get the rest of the nail polish up?
