The next time you get a good rain and while it is still raining go outside and take a look around your house for any puddeling of rain water around your foundation or by the down spouts. If there is this tell you that you do have a drainage problem. Another thing you want to check other than the gutters is the slope of your yard. Does it slope back towards the house? You would want the yard to slpoe away from the house so water drains away. Good luck.
