Forget the styrofoam sheeting, how about structural rigidity and durability. An OSB sheeting on a properly insulated 2x6 wall is capable of taking any kind of siding and will produce a strong wall that can withstand sheer and other stresses. This styrofoam crap is a complete budget cop-out for tract quality construction. I don't know of any high end custom builders using it.
