I recently purchased a Japanese black laquer cabinet with inlaid abalone shell. Unfortunate, someone taped the cabinets and drawers with duct tape. When they removed the tape, they did not bother trying to get the glue off the cabinet. It is, therefore, very dry. I would very much like to be able to get the duct tape glue off the cabinet without ruining it.
