When I turn on the water quickly in my kitchen sink, the water comes out like a machine gun (and it sounds like one too) or stops altogether. I have to turn off the water and turn it back on slowly for the rattling to stop.
Also, in my bathroom, when the toilet is filling up, it whines just before it finishes filling the tank.
