Does anybody know why there are low to the ground concrete walls running alongside my foundation? Pro's think they're just weird. Two say pull 'em out because they're catching water and rotting the sills; two say just cover 'em with flashing when I re-side the house.
The only thing I know is they're ugly and I'm afraid flashing over them will be uglier. But if they serve some purpose or if taking them out would disturb the 200 yr. old foundation, I'll go with ugly.
