Rattling pipes and things,,,? Posted by John 2000 on September 29th, 1999 03:02 PM In reply to Rattling pipes and whining toilet by Jeff Walters on September 29th, 1999 01:02 PM [Go to top of thread]
Hi" Jeff, It sounds as if you have too much pressure coming out of the system, turn the water valve back one or two turns, that should ease the pressure, rattling pipes could mean that the pipe clips (fastners) that hold the pipe to the wall are too far apart, fix extra clips about every 2'6" apart and that should do the trick,? As for the screeming toilet, change the in let valve, thats the part where the water comes into the cistern. If that don't work...then come back to us.. John 2000
