Brian, I hate to tell you this, but yes your too late in filing. The poly pipes you are referring to are now obsolete. The best and most practical advice I can give to you is: Remove and replace all supply and drainage piping to your modular. Depending on your climate, you can go with CPVC supplies and PVC DWV drainage. If you are not in a salt water environment, then copper supplies are the best option. I have seen copper supply tubing in a salt water environment, and believe me they get ugly. The solder joints get mucked up. No matter how much care the plumber takes to make the joint look, "pretty" it ends up being fugly. CPVC water lines are not hard to install, so if you decide on them, I can give you expert advice on the installation process.
