My home is a former model built in 1984. It has metal case sliding windows that have no manufacturing information on them. Several of the windows' rollers have developed flat spots causing them to have a bumpy opening and closing. I have tried to find replacements for the rollers with no success. Local window replacement companies cannot find anything in their catalogs to help. Since I don't want to replace my windows entirely, I am looking for a source for window parts that are no longer manufactured. Does anyone know of such a company? If not, what else can be done to correct the problem?
