Mike....buy your wife roses and smile...lol. Take ice cube and rub over the was to make it stiff and then vacuum up. If you are left with a greasy like spot....take brown paper bags and hot iron to it. Lay the brown paper over the spot and iron. You will need to do this several times to blot up the wax. Do not let the hot iron touch the fibre of the carpet. Note: Use clean brown paper each time you blot.
