Just be sure that the model you pick has removable window brackets, and that the side vents clear the wall. Some makers sell models specifically for wall installation; they come with a separate sleeve, so you can slide out the guts of the unit for maintenance and repair, and leave the sleeve in place. Some units labeled as window units have this kind of sleeve, but don't admit to it. Other mfrs. sell the sleeve as an extra!
