Hi" Ron, One thing which is very important, is the two small blocks of wood fitted to the sill at the bottom of the top window. Have you noticed how you open your top window,?? you push it down with your fingers, and when the cord brakes the window will drop.... right onto your fingers... so remember the two blocks of wood about 6" long should do it they will stop the window..
