I purchased my Neptune when it was the first generation so I didn't have the valuable feedback contined in the strings of msg boards on the internet. I think I have found a solution but it is not pretty... I have used several Miele products and I have researched thier machine and it seems like they have a really neat unit. Expensive but as you know your Neptunes weren't cheap. The Miele also uses less electricity per year (about 25% less). We have a Miele dishwasher and our only complint is that we open the unit while it is still running because it is so quiet (I mean really quiet...like whisper). If the Miele Washer is as quite as the Dishwasher then I'm sold.
