In reply to Wasp Nest In Garage by Melanie Burton on July 4th, 2003 05:30 PM [Go to top of thread]

Those little sob's seem to be able to build a nest in only a few short days.

I knock down a nest about once a month during the summer on the peak of my garage. I use a curtain rod (it's pretty high up there).

Best bet is to get some wasp spray from Raid™ - blast the nest and run inside. About 15 minutes later come out and knock it down.

If you know you'll have an anaphalactic reaction in the event you get stung, get a neighbor to do it.
