Removing linoleum from a wood floor

I have been attempting to remove horrible 1970's green linoleum from our foyer. The house has beautiful hardwood floors through out. My problem is certain areas of the linoleum seem to be better adhered than others. I have been using a scraper, and a razor scraper only to injure myself, and get tiny bits up. Is there any product, or way I could remove this junk easier? I'm not against putting some blood, sweat, and tears into our home, but this is going on three months! Any advice is welcome, I'll try anything!
