My problem is that I had gutters installed and the installers discovered that my fascia board was only 4 inches and they resinstalled a 5 inch fasciaboard leaving a gap varying from 1/2 to an inch between the roof and the fascia-room enough for a mouse or small animal to enter and they insist that that is the way it is done these days. Are they right? What can I do to prevent animal intrusion-it wasn't like this before.
