If I understand correctly Cynthia, you are saying that you need to bring the temperature down further than you want in order to get the humidity down. If so, this is characteristic of having too much tonnage. But you say that SEER and tonnage are the same as before so perhaps there is more to it. Have you talked to the installer about the problem?
