I'm beginning a fence project and I need some 8 x 3 screws. I can buy a pound for $5.19 or I can buy 5 pounds for $20.72. I will not have another such project, so I won't have a use for leftovers. Nobody at "The Depot" can tell me the approximate number (or exact number)of screws in a pound box so that I can buy only what I need in the most economic packaging. I guess this sounds a bit cheap when you're putting up 120 feet of 1x6x6 dog eared picket fencing but .... Anybody got a box and would be willing to count? ...or I'm open to suggestions. Thanks
