I have a bit of a dilemma. The doorknob on the door of my garage sort of broke off. The doorknob on the outside has been pulled off somehow, so that the plate that is supposed to be between the doorknob and the actual door is still attatched to the door itself. The doorknob could still be used to open the door. Here's the real problem: I was trying to fix the door, but like the idiot I am, locked the other side and accidentally let it close on me. There is pretty much no other way to get in, save breaking a window (did I mention that the power to the garage is off from the inside?). Is there any way to get inside? I've thought of buying a similar doorknob, then breaking off the doorknob and then trying to turn the knob, but I don't know if that'll work properly. Any comments will be appreciated.
