Our bathroom has slightly textured, vinyl wallpaper that was put up in 1977. Can I paint over the wallpaper for a new look? The bathroom is small and the shower/tub is used a lot so has high humidity. The wallpaper is moderately dark with a design and I want to paint it a pale sage green. If it will work, what kind of paint should be used?
