The ceilings in my new house (new construction)have just been finished with drywall compound. Now I want to paint. Question, what paint? The ceilings above (attic space) have blown fiberglass insulation with no vapor barrier. The installer says the insulation manufacturer does not recommend vapor barrier, but recommended using oil based paint. Hve you heard of this? All that I have read says ceilings are most generally painted with flat latex. Any advice?
