I have a mess. Help!!! Husband put white stain on new pine wall boards with a roller-it looks terrible, more like paint. Then proceeded to finally wipe it on the sealing(all new pine) and paint it on with a brush on the trim. Now, one wall looks painted and itt is dark(painted) looking brush marks where thee trim was painted and they are on the ceiling. We tried to blend the "Painted" areas in with mineral spirits, to no avail. Anything that we could rub on walls at this poinnt ( two-three days later) to BLEND the over stained spots with the wiped on spots?
