In reply to Bath Fitter Tub Liner by Frances Allison on October 17th, 2002 09:40 AM [Go to top of thread]

i had the liner and wall unit installed and ran into trouble right away.
first they broke existing wall tile and it took a month to get someone to repair it. (and it looks repaired) 2nd there was something about the way the liner fit that just buged me till i figured it out. the liner was never installed properly. at the faucet end of the tub the edge is curved up and doesn't meet the front section nor they trim edge right.
the bottom line they don't have the people to do the job right, the product is great. if i would have known it came from canada i would not have bought it. the franchisees' are not screened very well.
not that it is in i hate it because of the way in was installed and it wasn't cheap.
do your homework. check out the installer more than the product. if he knows what he is doing, then you'll be happy with it.
thanks for a place to air my concerns.
the company here in ct does'nt care and i don't know how to reach the canada office to tell they of this problem.
