I knew the floor drain was working, but your comment about dehumidifying drove me to an old humidifier on the furnace that I disabled shortly after moving in because it was leaking water all over the place and I never gave it another thought. I removed the corroded filter, cleaned it thoroughly, put the cover back on and today I have no odor at all! Thanks, Tom!
