My mother in law has a toilet with a flapper system i have never seen. (nor has the guy in the hardware store. The flapper sits inside a brass cylinder. this cylinder has openings in the bottow to alow water to flush the toilet. i would attach a picture of it but the message will not let me. She tells me this toilet is from the the 1950's
