I live in a 17 year old, one story house. The supply lines are 3/4 inch copper with 1/2 inch going to the fixtures. In one bathroom, there is a humming sound. The toilet does not run. When I close the stop valve to the toilet, the sound stops. The sound continues when the toilet is flushed. How do I fix this? We are on city water.
