Can you tell us more about why you want to do this and what you hope to accomplish? The reason I ask is because there may be other alternatives. There are indoor and outdoor security lights but you can do many different things with them like hook them up to an alarm system, perhaps to kick on a security camera, or perhaps to a PC in the police station when it goes off.
