it should be doing its job ...it depends on the type and maybe even the brand,,,and definitely depends on the room temp. and humidity conditions as to how long it will actually take to completely cure and firm up all the way thru. My guess will be, not knowing the room conditions and the type/brand of caulk used. that it may take a month or two ...maybe even longer ...hope this helps. LJ
