Thanks Jay! One of the window wells is near where my young child plays, so I'll try to get a stronger dome for that well. I put covers on the other wells just because I thought it would be a good idea for keeping the leaves and elements out of them. I was not having any water problems. Funny that you mentioned crawl spaces. I have a one story addition that is about 15 by 25. It was built before I bought the house, and it is built on a brick foundation wall about 18-24 inches high. There are NO vents into the crawl space (I looked everywhere), and I have no idea whether they laid down a vapor barrier under the addition. Should I knock holes in the brick to ventilate the crawl space? How do I do this?
