Deck over porch

I have a deck over a porch and the rubber membrane covered with outdoor carpet has started to fail causing some places in the plywood decking to rot and become soft.After fixing the deck what would be the best way to cover the deck so you can walk on it and have the water drain off.Deck has a slight slope.
