A few more tips before you start

Its the usual practice among pro's to take up all of the existing mouldings before you start installing new flooring. ( with the exception of carpet)
Here are the tips: number the mouldings as you remove them, so you can easily replace them in the same spot. Also, make sure you yank all the nails out of the moulding and the wall before starting, as the nails in the wall will do some real damage to a knuckle or two when you spread the mortar.
