I moved into an abandoned house last year and the countertops in the downstairs bathroom *need* to be replaced. I have thought about replacing the formica, creating a tile counter or removing the rest of the formica and painting the wood (and it is actual wood not plywood or particle board)with a white wash varnish.
Has anyone painted the wood as opposed to the formica on their bathroom counter?
