I need to install hardwood floors in two rooms which have radiators. The rooms are on the main level of the house. I'm not installing new floors in the upstairs. What do I have to do to prepare the radiators to place the new hardwood underneath of them? I'm assuming the height differnece may cause some strain on the existing pipes. Do I have to adjust the radiators upstairs as well? Thanks for any input.
